Any Moms With Experience Finding Discounts?

January 192010

My hubby and I are expecting twins due this January. We have a son already, and were prepared for one but excitedly surprised to find that we're expecting two and three. My husband and I have so far gotten most of what we need, but I'm trying to find the best deals I can for a stroller and snug car seats. Are there any good websites that anyone can recommend? How about discounts on general things...ie diapers, wipes etc.? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the twins! What a blessing! Ours are 11 months old today.

We had everyone that we know sign-up for formula coupons - check out the sites for Enfamil, Good Start, Gerber, Similac or whatever it you decide to formula feed.

We shop at a children's consignment store for clothes - we live near a place called Children's Orchard. They are also a great place to get strollers and stuff like that. We watch Walmart and Target for kids clothes to go on sale and buy them even if they are a few sizes too big. We just store them in rubbermaid tubs.

We buy diapers and wipes from BJs in bulk - they are one of those warehouse super stores.

Watch CraigsList and Freecycle - we got our cribs from Craigs List.

Hope this helps!

I don’t know where you live but you can always go to a used children’s store. Like Once Upon a Child.

diapers.com will give you ten off an order of fifty or more i think, maybe free shipping? they have ads in all the baby mags, if u don’t have one and want one email me and i will get one for u out of mine…

sometimes amazon has free shipping and a better price on things but not always, and they have everything; brus usually has clearance racks year round…hth
