What Stroller/car Seat Travel System Have You Had That You Really Like?

February 262010

I really want something easy to use and that isnt too bulky. I am having my fifth baby and will use it a lot. I had the Graco combo with my last baby, but I really think that the stroller is pretty bulky. My husband and I saw the Combi stroller/car seat yesterday and really liked it and then I read the reviews which weren't too great! I am kind of thinking Britax, but I just don't know....lol!

I have the Chicco Cortina and love it. One great feature is on the stroller the handle has three height setting that you can easily change which is great because I'm short and my husband is tall and it allows for both of us to push the stroller comfortably. Also the stroller folds smaller than graco's. One thing it doesn't have on the carseat part is those hooks that fit onto shopping carts, but it does fit there fine. Although no carseat is made to go on the shopping cart, but in reality almost everyone does it. But I always felt safer with it in the basket of the shopping cart instead of up top. And I also like that when the carseat is in the stroller you can adjust the shade top in both directions so you can easily see your baby and they are still blocked from the sun. One other thing is that there doesn't seem to be a convenient place to attach any stroller toys. Not a big deal but just worth mentioning. Overall I really like the chicco. It sells for about $260. The carseat is good rear facing up to 22 pounds.

I need a review on this kind of stroller, or at least the company.?

For my twins I have a Maclaren Twin Traveller, have used it since they were born, they are 3 now. It is not bulky and it pretty light weight. Then now for my niece I have a Maclaren Techno and it is also not bulky and is light weight, and can be used from birth.

I don’t like bulky strollers either. But I use whatever my baby likes even if it is bulky. I’ve had a few but my baby never really liked it bc she couldnt lay back, the strollers couldnt recline all the way. I think u’re looking for strollers that come w the car seat, too. This doesnt come with a car seat. But I had one that my baby did like, but it’s a disney princess one that reclined and it’s pretty small, which i liked. She’s now 5 mnths and getting bigger so i stopped using it. My mom finally bought one that she actually likes. I think it’s Kolcraft brand, model Contours…? i think. It’s red, a little big but not really bulky, seat reclines, and there’s a compartment where u can put ur ipod and ur baby can listen to music, my favorite feature. I think my mom spent only about $80. If ur baby isnt picky about strollers she/he might like this. good luck…

We have a graco- and it is a bit bulky- but I love it. It is comfy for the baby, my husband who is over 6 ft. tall has an easy time pushing it and doesn’t need to slouch. As well, it is easy to fold and to store. It has tons of storage for your stuff and for the baby’s.

They also have a smaller version of the one we have:
    Here is ours:

We went with the bigger version because we used ours a lot with our son and wanted to make sure she had the ride he had.
