Best Stroller And Car Seat Combo For New Baby Under $200?

March 272010

I am tired of sorting through hundreds of reviews on Babies R Us and Target.com trying to figure out what stroller and car seat combo to buy before our baby arrives. We would like it to be under $200, and the one that goes from the stroller frame to the car seat base. We would also like it to have a canopy, cup holders and storage basket underneath the seat. We don't care about color really, but would prefer black or tan. Can anyone help us?

This is what we have...so far it has worked really good for us and it is neutral which is something we wanted in case we decide to try for another baby later on down the road...

We haven't had any problems with it and since our son was born 2 months early I was really glad to have the infant seat vs. having a convertible seat at first....however, our son has quickly caught up in weight and at 6 months old he is almost too big for his infant seat so he got a convertible seat for dad's truck a little while back and got one for my car for Christmas... Overall though, I really love the carseat and especially the stroller...

    Gracobaby.com

has a ton of the best travel systems around. They are all the same really, just different colors.

Graco is my favorite, and I would buy any of them honestly.

The one I bought is an Evenflo stroller/carseat travel system. It cost me under $200. It is tan and black and has animals all over it. It’s got everything you could possibly think of. You should definitely check into it.

I remember when I was pregnant, and I had to pick out a travel system. I can’t tell you know what is good because my son is 2 and I am only 10 weeks pregnant. But what I would suggest is that you go to the stores instead of on line to look at and try out the strollers. You can check different manufactures websites and narrow down what you like. Try to find a store where you can actually see the product and test out the stroller and car seat. The worse thing that can happen is that you wait until the last minute, and when you need to use either piece you don’t know what you are doing. That is so frustrating.

I would recommend Graco. Get one of the Quattro stroller systems, that is the best stroller I have used.
