Is Obama correct in his statement regarding research into special needs children?
He stated that more funding (or adequate funding) should be given towards that effort. Whereas McCain is interesting in a spending freeze. McCain himself gave praise to Palin for her interest in special needs research, however, how will he support that research with a freeze in place?
People apparently do not understand what a freeze means. It means NO FUNDING for ANYTHING - nada, nothing! No funding for special needs children, no funding for research, no funding for providing vaccinations to school age children, no funding for flu shots for the elderly. N O T H I N G. And the freeze is indefinite, meaning from now until .... Not a week, not a month - MANY MANY months or even years. This is McCain's plan.
