How much is this worth?
Hoist the sails mate
for today we leave
Ports unknown
adventures in each
Over waters translucent
seeking our selves
Leaning to winds
letting all else go
From prams to yachts
ketches and sloops
On Carolina skiffs
liners and tankers
Bayous and streams
rivers and lakes
On oceans and seas
in swamps and canals
There is the breeze
it sets us to peace
Lives caught in tides
as waves take us
Sun bound by day
star struck in night
Clocking the days
back drop of blue
Spending hours and savings
to relive the myths
Diving in to our souls
eyes misted in the magic
Lower the sails mate
for tonight we return
Dockside arms waiting
to hold us close until
The rewards, far outweigh the investment
sheesh....does your mother admit to you being her spawn?
Sounds like a heck of a good time with the boys. Bah ha...
Adventure here is youthful and the men are still frivolous and wanton party animals dock rats all. Having a blast, seems to me. Fun at sea. I have known a few in my time at the docks.
Legal pirates and love the water any kind of sail will do, but to work the tall ships. That was top shelf
