I hate the double strollers that have two tandem seats, and I have never used a double side by side stroller but I really don't like them either lol. The only thing I can think of would be one of the Sit and Stand strollers. I have been reading reviews on these for literally months, I'm not even kidding.... my husband says the boys are gonna be driving their own cars before I make a decision. I really like the 2010 Joovy Ultralight Caboose (except for the price) and my other option is the Baby Trend. I already know the differences in them, pros and cons. My only hold up is the fact that they seem to be more towards a toddler and a baby. I have a 2 and 3 1/2 year old, and they both weigh about the same. I'm concerned that the Joovy wont last long as far as my youngest fitting in the front seat. I don't have any way to see these strollers in person, so I'm hoping that someone here has one. I have read so many reviews that say the Joovy front seat is short and may not be big enough for a "toddler" and that the footrest is also short so his legs would be dangling. Looking at pictures I can see what they mean. But the Baby Trend looks to be so long, it seems like it will be a pain to push, almost the same as the normal double tandem. Also, I don't have a minivan or SUV so it has to fit in my Elantra trunk. I also thought about just saying screw it and getting 2 umbrella strollers, but my oldest doesn't always like to be in a stroller and wont always listen when I tell him to stay with me. Ugh. Anyone have some good advise about this for me? Really I just need to know if these strollers are good for 2 toddlers. Sorry about the long question....
Oh yes! I was looking into getting a wagon at first, because I know my boys would love it.... but I know it wont fit in the trunk of my car

I have a Baby Trend and I love it. However, I wish I had bought a Radio Flyer wagon. I think the kids, 4 and 1 would enjoy it more. They would have more to see.

We hired a full time Nanny recently. Her refs were great, and we really liked her, until she started. Her first day she was 10 minutes late, not a huge deal as it was her 1st week, so I was working from home. Her 2 year old son was with her, and upon her interviews she had suggested bringing him and offered discounted rates in order for that consideration.
At the end of my workday, I went into the main house and it was a disaster. I cleaned up after she left, and noted it was her 1st day, so she likely had her hands full.
Day 2 she was 45 minutes late, again with her 2 year old in tow. I then noticed she did not have a diaper bag for her child with her. Again at the end of the day the house was a mess.
This pattern continued all week, she was late every day, used my childs diapers wipes and supplies as well as fed her child all his meals at my home. The meals I don't have issue with, but I do think using my diapers all day is a bit of an imposition. Friday night, as she left we asked her how she felt her first week went, and that's where she suggested a higher salary. I told her we would take it under consideration. We had intitially offered her a salaried position, based on 12 dollars an hour for a 45 hour workweek. She was to get all of our holidays off with pay as well, and when we took vacation in December and August, those 2 weeks were paid for her as well, Honestly, given her performance I found her asking for more money offensive.
About 2 hours after she left Friday, my husband noticed my daughters strollers were missing from the coat closet. 1 stroller was an inexpensive folding one from WalMart, the other was a high end jogging stroller given to me as a gift. My husband called the nanny to ask where they were and she said she had borrowed them to go to the zoo with her friend and her friends child over the weekend.
I told her in no uncertain terms, they were to be returned by midmorning this morning. I want to fire her. But, are her actions common with professional nannies now? Am I too sensitive?

We definately want a bike trailer and a jogger. It makes more sense to buy a trailer that converts. I have looked online at brands like Burley and Schwinn, etc...I want all the safety features and I want one that has gotten excellent reviews. Any recommendations?
Bike trailers make me really nervous. I'd say just go for the jogger or get a seat on each bike. I cannot bring myself to be okay with the trailers. They're so low and I always feel like they're going to get hit or fall off.
