Should I Just Buy The Stroller?
August 232010
Okay, so pretty much, when I went to go buy all the furniture for the baby (i'm currently 39 weeks pregnant), I saw a stroller that I wanted, and my boyfriend did not want to buy it because he said he did not want to push around a pink stroller. Anyways, we ended up getting a cheap $100 cosco stroller that I absolutely hate. I keep on looking back on that stroller that I wanted, and it seems like I want it more and more everyday. I keep on looking back at it on the babies r us website. It's the elyse travel system by graco. I'm starting to think that I should just buy it because I think it would bring me great happiness, and we will just have 2 strollers. We also just got a coupon for $100 off that exact stroller, plus I checked the web site and this stroller has gotten TONS of good reviews, and it was even rated in a magazine that I was reading as one of the top 12 strollers. I currently have about $2000 in my bank account, I do not work, my parent's send me $500 a month on top of what my boyfriend makes. My mom said that once I run out of money in the bank she will send me another $2500, but I really really want this money to last me another 4 months. Although, I think that this purchase will bring me a great satisfaction because of how desperate I am for this stupid stroller. Can I please have some advice on what would be best to do from someone who is more experienced? This is my first child.
From a practical point of view, that pretty pink stroller will get dirty quickly if you're going to be taking the baby on a lot of outings. I have three kids, the oldest is 18 (wow!). My collapsible navy blue Chicco stroller held up from kid#1 to kid#3. The navy doesn't show the dirt as much. I'm sure your baby will spill formula, or food or have a diaper leak eventually in that pink stroller. I'm fairly certain that it'll be hard to keep clean.

At the ABC Baby & Kids Expo, Gear Daddy got the lowdown on the latest baby strollers from Trends for Kids. These strollers are great for dads, especially a tall dad like Daddy Troy. TFK shows off a few of their jogging strollers, including a double stroller perfect for parents of twins or for a pair of siblings. Their tandem stroller can hold two bassinets and Graco and Peg Perego car seats. They've even got a jogger stroller with a skateboard attached. Watch as Daddy Troy gives it a spin around the expo floor. DadLabs Ep. 564 is brought to you by BabyBjorn. Distributed by Tubemogul.
